Defense outline (5 minutes)
Format: 5 min presentation + 2 min Q&A · W15 or W16 (your choice).
1
45 sec · The belief that changed. One key idea about being prepared for the age of AI you had coming in that has changed. State the before and the after.
2
60 sec · The moment. The specific point — which sprint, which conversation, which piece of work — where you realized the shift. Not “over time.” A moment.
3
3 min · The case. Make the case for your Superagency and Human Value Proposition, with concrete examples from your Sprint 1–4 work. This is the body of the defense.
4
15 sec · Going forward. How you’ll approach work differently because of what changed.
Anticipate in Q&A
- What would a skeptic say about your superagency claim? What’s your strongest counter-evidence?
- Where in your Sprint 1–4 work did you NOT demonstrate this shift? What does that tell you?
- If AI capabilities double in the next year, does your case still hold? What would have to change?
- Which capability — SDL, IS, or AB — is weakest in you right now, honestly?
Part 1 — Slide deck PDF (5 pts)
Upload your defense slides as a PDF here on Canvas by noon Wed May 13, before the final class. Your slides ground the story you’ll tell in class — your growth across the whole course, focused on Superagency and Human Value.
Part 2 — In-class defense (5 pts)
Present for 3 minutes, then 1 minute for peers to write questions, then 2 minutes of Q&A. You’ll defend either in W15 or W16 — the written submission deadline is the same for everyone regardless of when you present.
